Third Party Administrator (TPA) Claims Manager

Role: We are seeking an experienced Insurance Third Party Administrator (TPA) Manager to join our team at our Dallas-Fort Worth office. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing commercial auto claims, bodily injury claims, litigated claims and expertise in transportation and trucking claims. As a TPA Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Reporting Line: Reports to U.S. Chief Operating Officer

Office/Remote: This is an in-office position in our DFW office.

In Scope

  • Assist in building and managing a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end claims process, including intake, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of commercial auto, Transportation/Trucking, bodily injury, and litigated claims.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, legal precedents, and emerging trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Proactively manage SLA compliance
  • Communicates and reports to COO on claim metrics, SLA compliance and claim quality.
  • Facilitate with back-office support for the running of required client and financial reporting.
  • Participates in marketing calls/visits with clients where required.

Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial auto claims management, with a proven track record of success in handling bodily injury and litigated claims.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a TPA or insurance company.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, regulations, and best practices, particularly within the commercial auto insurance sector and the transportation and trucking industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including claims management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience and understanding of E&S policies and the related claim handling procedures and requirements.
