More than 65 years of Claim Experience…

In 1949, Fred Maltman introduced the Canadian insurance market and provided a leading edge, claims adjustment alternative to a sophisticated, demanding and growing market. 1958 brought the official founding of FC Maltman and Company, based in Toronto, Ontario and Fred continued his journey for many years, building his vision for the company in Canada.

In 1988, four partners including John Breese, came together as Fred’s successors and strategically re-positioned the company. They recognized the globalization of insurance markets, and the need for an independent adjusting company with global reach and the international demand for the highest standard in local technical claims handling knowledge in specialty lines.

Maltman International was established in 2003 and has expanded its reach to include all types of professional and general liability claims.  Testament to the success of the company in achieving this vision is the global nature of the client base.  Today, Maltman International has truly become an international specialty firm.  The “Maltmans” team is comprised of market leaders all who remain committed to delivering superior adjusting and claims management services to a demanding and discerning insurance market – just as Fred Maltman dreamed.

Maltman International offers high-end specialty claims service for Errors and Omissions, Directors and Officers Liability, Environmental, Commercial Liability and London Programs.
